First track, “Early Light” is a basic deep house cut thats built around a vibrant deep chord progression & a “house” sample vocal which asks you a number of questions which eventually leads to the vocalist telling you that “house music is not yours” & “house music is not for sale”. By now the groove is in full swing and has really come alive, & the introduction of deep synths and warm chords - which float over the deeper chords & run throughout give the track that Mojuba classy feel. The vocal then comes to a end by sampling Eddie Amador’s classic house speech from his smash hit, “House Music”.
The flipside, “Waiting For Your Call” is equally as classy with a well polished finish. Going that little bit deeper with textural atmospherics & tight piano keys, “Waiting For Your Call” glides by with rhythmic flair and originality. Its more laid back than “Early Light” but equally as enjoyable, it makes great home listening & when dropped at the right time on the right dance floor it would be sure to see smiles all round.
